story boards

scene:1  shot:1 location: outside the school
shot types: this is an establishing shot of the Christ the king school. i chose this shot so that the audience will be able to see the location where the advert will be shot. the duration for this shot will be 5 seconds.this is because we as a group have been given a time slot which we most meet. the time slot is 30 seconds so each shot will need to 5 seconds in duration. this shot will be shot in the middle of the day so we can get the natural lighting from the sun.

scene:1 shot:2 location: outside the LRC (library)
shot types: this is a close up  shot of the sign to the LRC. i chose this shot so the audience would be able to acknowledge the fact that the character will be going into the library. the shot duration will be for 1 second.

scene:1 shot:3 location: in side the library

shot types: this is a close of  the gift box. character 1 will be writing ' RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS, PLEASE OPEN ME', however because we are going to use box for filming so we couldn't show the writing on the box. this shot will durate for 2 seconds

scene;1 shot:4 location:inside the library
shot types: this is a long shot of character 1. she will be walking into the library with a box. because this is a story board the box looks plain however on the day of the shoot the box will be rapped in colorful rapping paper. character one will be wearing her own clothing and as for the lighting we will need to have at least one light lamp to enforce more lighting, however if possible we would love to have natural lighting to show realism.this will be done by having all the natural lights in the library turned on. lastly the duration of this shot will be 5 seconds as i have explained above.

scene:1 shot:5 location: in the library
shot types: this is a close up of the box. character will still be walking in this shot however she will be walking out of the frame for the continuity effect. the reason i have chosen a close up is so the audience can connote that the box is important. we will be using the light lamp to enforce more light towards the box. this is because the  natural lighting will not be bright enough for the audience. the shot duration yet again will be 5 seconds.
scene:1 shot:6 location inside the library
shot-types: this is a mid-shot of character one and the box. The character will be putting down the box and leaving a note inside the box. After that she will be walking out of the shot. This is to show continuity. The reason I have chosen a mid-shot ( even though the pouter wasn't taken well ) is because I want the audience to establish that character one has something in that box and her to put in a note connotes that whatever is inside is for a random person this already sends of the message of the random act of kindness. We will be using natural lighting as you can see in the image, the light is bright plus inside the library they will have the lighting. The duration of the shot will be 5 seconds. This is due to our time limit (30 seconds).

Scene:2 shot:7 location inside the library
Shot-types: this is a mid shot of character 2's appearance she will be with the box . She will be noticing the box and will open it to see what is inside. The reason I have chosen a mid-shot is so the audience won't need to see her walk into the library. This is because we don't have that much time to get everything they do and we have other important shots that need to be in the advert ( they are important in getting the message across to the audience).the short duration will be 2 seconds.
Scene:2 shot:8 location: in the library
Shot-types: this is a over the shoulder shot of character 2. character 2 will be picking up the present in the box, she will then look at the notes on the presents, the reason for using an over the shoulder shot is so the audience can see what character 2 is looking down at .we will be using extra lighting to make the presents more visible towards the audience and also  on the Note it will say 'random acts of kindness pass it on' this also Leeds to the reason why an over the shoulder shot was used it is so the audience can see the message written on the Post-it note the duration will be four- five seconds.
Scene:2 shot:9 location: in the library
Shot-types: this is a close-up of character 2 bringing money out of her pocket after reading the Post-it notes and seeing the pass it on message she brings out a £10 note the reason we have used a close up is the audience will be able to connotes that she is passing on the random act of kindness because we want the audience to really see how generosity we will now use extra lighting from the light lamp to make the shots Brighton so they can see clearly the short duration will be 3 seconds.
Scene 2 shots 10 location in the library
Shot types this is a high angle shot all character to putting the money inside the box the reason we have used an high angle shots is because we want to change the perspective that the audience is watching we don't want them to be staring at the same perspective all the time unless it will make them board and they will stop watching so by using a high angle shots we are keeping the focus also we will be using extra lighting to make the vision Clearer the duration of the shop will be for 4 seconds
Scene:2 short:11 location: inside the library
Shot types: this is a close-up \ cut away of the item in the box the reason we have used a close-up\ cut away is so the audience will get information that the character is putting in a present and also putting back the note to another person can come and do the same thing again this and forces deposit on message and always will be able to connect to this we will be using extra lighting to make the box brighter the duration will be for 2 seconds.

Scene:3 shot:12 location inside the library
Shot-types:
This is a mid shots of character 3 character three has just seen the box and is very intrigued by what is inside so he opened the box and find that there is a present in a box the reason we have use a mid shot for the shot is so the audience will be able to see that this is a new character with a new president the audience will be in cheese and want to know what you're going to put in the box will be using natural lighting as you can see in the image it is bright enough for the audience to see the duration of the shot will be 5 seconds

Scene:3 shot:13 location inside the library
Shot-types: This is a close-up of character three bringing out the £10 notes that character to put in the box the reason I have chosen are close up for this shot is because I want the audience to see what's the currency in and by using a close-up the audience is able to get a really good detailed picture of what the characters you we will be using daylight lamps to create extra lighting however this may not be needed as natural lighting in the picture is fine on off the duration of the shop will be to seconds

Scene:3 shot:14 location inside the library
Shot-types:
Here is a low angle shot of character 3 picking up the Post-it notes from the box the reason I have chosen a low angle shot is so that the perspective will be changed for the audience also I thought it would be more effective the duration for the show be to seconds

Scene:3 shot:15 location inside the library
Shot-types: here is a long shot of character 3 walking away after putting the Post-it note and a item in the box he's strolling away with the money in his hand the reason I have used a long shot you're so the audience can see that this is the end of the advert also they will be able to connect today that character is happy and I'll be able to see that a little random act of kindness goes a long way the lighting will be natural in this shop the duration of the shot will be for 4 seconds.
